Moments of Rome - Momenty Ríma

Krátke predstavenie fotografky.

Som vyše osemdesiatročná matematička. Mám manžela, dvoch synov, osem vnúčat a
priemernú domácnosť.
Všetok svoj čas, nadšenie a energiu – ktoré mi zostanú popri všetkých vyššie spomenutých
aktivitách – venujem už sedemdesiat rokov fotografovaniu. Vtedy som si kúpila svoj prvý
fotoaparát značky ALTIX, ktorý dodnes dobre funguje. S týmto fotoaparátom som urobila
väčšinu fotografií, ktoré sú tu vystavené. Iné boli zhotovené pomocou CONTAX-u podobného
veku. Posledné dva roky používam aj digitálny fotoaparát.
Všetky vystavené obrázky sú čiernobiele. Ich posolstvom je hra svetla a tieňa. Myslím, že by
farby túto prezentáciu rušili.
Doteraz som mala 15 výstav, z ktorých najvýznamnejšie boli: 1988 Székesfehérvár, Galéria
Svätej Koruny; 2000 Rím, Maďarská akadémia; 2002 Paríž, Maďarský inštitút; 2011 Budapešť,
Knižnica Ervina Szabóa; 2015 Oradea, Euro Photo Art Gallery.
Hlavnými témami fotografií sú moje obľúbené mestá, predovšetkým Rím.
Nehľadajte však významné pamätihodnosti tohto mesta. Na obrázkoch nie sú prítomné, iba
ak náhodou. Chcela by som predstaviť zvláštnu atmosféru mesta.
Obrázky nie sú jednotlivo pomenované. Sú nasnímané na uliciach a rohoch ulíc Mesta a
divákovi by chceli sprostredkovať dojem.

Short self-introduction of the photographer

I am a mathematician, in my eighties. Have a husband, two sons, eight
grandchildren, and a normal household.
My full time, enthusiasm and energy -remaining after the above
mentioned activities- is dedicated to photography, since 70 years
already. At that time I bought my first, ALTIX type camera, which serves
well ever since. The greater part of the exhibited material was made with
it. The other pictures was produced with a likewise aged CONTAX
camera. Since the last two years I use sometimes a digital camera.
Exhibited are only black-and-white pictures. What they says, in essence:
the play of light and shadow . I believe,the colors would be disturbing
in portraying it.
I had 15 exhibitions already, the greaters are: 1988 in the Szent Korona
Gallery at Székesfehérvár, 2000 at the Hungarian Academy in Rome,
2002 in Paris, at the Hungarian Institute, 2011 Budapest, Szabó Ervin
Library, 2015 Oradea, Euro Photo Art Gallery.
The main topics are my favourite towns, above all Rome.
Don't seek for the famous spots of the town. They are not –if by chance-
present on the pictures. The particular atmosphere of the Urbs is
hopefully shown.
The pictures have no individual titles. Made on the streets and corners of
Rome, and they would like to give you impressions.
